Fitness World Health Club and Sports Complex is proud to present our annual D.I.S.C.O.V.E.R. CAMPS!  

Where our goal is to make your kids become the best version of themselves. Whether your goal is to try something new or develop as an athlete…Our camp offers something for you!

Coaches and Trainers from the Jacksonville community will provide campers with the tools and knowledge to develop successful lifestyle skills.

This seven week program, which features a new sport/skill each week, is dedicated to developing each individual into leaders, and helping them reach their full potential on and off the court.

CAMP OPTIONS: 

1.JUMPSTART FITNESS: June 6-8 (4th-8th Grade) Hosted by Illinois College  Directo of Track and Cross Country Jason Haynes. Focus on proper running and bounding techniques, day to day healthy living tips and tricks to enhance your campers speed and agility for any and all sports and activities.
2.POWERFIT: June 13-15 (Pre-K - 8th Grade)    Get ready for three days of exciting cardio and strength workouts created by Fitness World’s certified trainers. Kids of every fitness level will have a blast using our new equipment, learning basic and advanced exercises and cheering on fellow campers!
3.VOLLEYBALL: June 20-22 (4th-8th Grade) Hosted By Routt Coaches Pat Gibson & Stacey Beeley . This camp gives athletes the tools they need in all areas of volleyball. Focus will be on individual development of fundamentals with attention to offensive and defensive strategies.
4.MIND,BODY&SPIRIT:June 27-29 (Pre-K-8th Grade) Let us help your kids with imagination to engage themselves through strength, coordination and body awareness.
5.BASKETBALL:  July 11-13 (2nd-8th Grade) Hosted by MacMurray College Coach Derek James & current MacMurray athletes. All the keys of basketball will be covered: speed, footwork, defense, rebounding, ball-handling, shooting and strength training.
6.SOCCER: July 18-20 (Pre-K-2nd Grade)     Fitness World’s successful Futsal Soccer returns with new drills and games for campers looking to improve their game and others just wanting to have fun!
7.POWERFIT 2.0: July 25-27 (Pre-K-8th Grade) Fitness World’s certified trainers are back with another round of creative workouts and games for campers. Sessions will feature elements of Fitness World’s most popular classes, all modified for campers of different abilities.
